HVAC company allegedly causes damage to Worthington A/C unit

COMPLAINT: Cheryl Snider, Worthington, Ohio

"I called my home warranty company after my A/C unit stopped cooling due to a frozen line. They sent Air Masters Heating & Cooling to me. The [service representative] ripped out a wire to "make sure it didn't turn on" while he looked at it.

"He said he'd order a part and left. I never heard from him again.

"I called Air Masters every day and could only leave a message. No one returned my calls. I was without A/C for more than three weeks!

"After Air Masters "looked at" my A/C unit, the fan stopped working. Now, I've had to pay another company $520 to have the motor replaced.

"The issue wasn't the fan motor or blades until Air Masters came out. The real issue was the refrigerant."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I would like Air Masters to refund the cost of my A/C unit's repairs minus the $90 returned to me, for a total of $430."
