Houston homeowner says home office remodel was a disaster
I hired 4 All Granite, Tile & Wood of Richmond, Texas, to remodel a home office and install a bathroom.
I was dissatisfied from the start with owner Moses Ribeiro’s shady negotiation practices and the way he couldn’t figure out how to itemize a bill. I chose him because he gave us the cheapest bid. Now I know why.
One of his employees damaged my new stove. Moses said I had no proof of who did it, and it was up to the employee and I to resolve.
Moses did a number of jobs incorrectly that could’ve been overlooked if not for the biggest issue of all. Moses, who isn’t a licensed plumber and doesn’t have one working for him, installed plumbing in the new bathroom.
I’ve had 10 different plumbers look at his work after the toilet clogged and couldn’t be unclogged with a plunger or toilet snake. Each time, I received a shocked reaction from the plumbers.
He installed the wrong pipes, installed them improperly and in the incorrect location. I now I have to pay $5,000 for plumbing repairs.
I want a $5,000 refund.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
