Homeowners laud these Austin plumbers
Whether you live north in Round Rock or over in Bee Cave, as an Austin homeowner, you’re looking for great service, especially with your plumbing needs and emergencies.
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from Austin plumbers as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
Locating a leak
Steve’s Plumbing Repair of Austin, Texas sealed the deal for Leslie Klatt. “Owner Steve Brougher took care of a leak I had in my external and internal piping,” she says. “I was losing hundreds of dollars from this leak, unbeknownst to me. He quickly assessed the problem and began work immediately. He even came back to check on the leak to make sure all was well. He spent 30 minutes of his own time inspecting and making sure everything was working well. There is nothing harder to find than a good plumber. He’s a great guy.”
Fixing a DIY project
Danny Bridge pours out praise for Plumb Masters of Leander, Texas. “They replaced three faucets, tightened all plumbing fixtures and corrected a failed DIY project,” he says. “They arrived within the scheduled time and discussed the work that I wanted done. They did a visual inspection and provided a detailed cost estimate. The work was started and finished in a timely manner. The work areas were left in excellent condition. I am very satisfied with the professionalism of this company during this project.”
Cold is on the Right Plumbing of Cedar Park, Texas exorcized Leslee Beldotti’s toilet demons. “They replaced a possessed toilet. My toilet seemed to be inhabited by a ghost. It would randomly refill its tank when no one was looking,” she says. “They assessed the problem and gave me estimates on both repairing the toilet or replacing it entirely. In an effort to avoid another infestation of the plumbing poltergeists, I opted to have the toilet replaced. They completed the installation within three hours from my initial call.”
Fixed up for the dinner party
Caroline Guckian is plumb pleased with the service provided by Ken Dixon Plumbing of Jarrell, Texas. “My garbage disposal broke in my kitchen causing the dishwasher to overflow and food to come out of my sink,” she says. “This was stressful for me considering I was having a dinner party in the evening. They came over and replaced my garbage disposal. They were quick, courteous and didn’t leave a mess in my kitchen. They even took the time to answer some plumbing questions about a future renovation project in my bathroom.”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A's in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company's actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they'd hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
