Homeowner says Snohomish appliance repair company ruined dishwasher
I hired Pesky Appliance Repair of Snohomish, Washington, to fix my dishwasher. They sent a technician who openly admitted that he didn’t have much experience with the manufacturer of our dishwasher.
I watched him struggle to dismantle the top of the dishwasher in order to replace the control board. Eventually, he forced it open and broke it, so that every time you open the dishwasher, the top panel comes off in your hand. The touch buttons that control the wash cycles also stopped working.

The owner, Glenn, replaced the broken panel, but the control buttons remained inoperative. Glenn said he’d have to order a new wiring harness, acknowledged his technician broke it and lamented the fact that he was now losing money on the deal.
He said he’d call back when he had an idea when the part would be in, but that was the last I heard from him. He no longer returns my calls. I want a refund of the $400 I paid this company, so I can hire someone else to repair the damage they did.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
