Homeowner says Sarasota A/C company dried up roof leak concerns
I hired N&M Cool Today of Sarasota, Fla., to remove an air conditioning unit from my roof and install a new one on the ground.
Instead of removing and repairing the existing ductwork, they put a cap over it and left four inches of clearance between the cap and the roof.
It was supposed to be flat, and it looks unsightly. It will be a source of future leaks if it dries up and get cracks in it. I have to have someone patch the roof.
I want the company to remove existing insulated ductwork protruding above and below the roofline, close the opening and seal for leaks.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
