Homeowner says Marion contractor left shoddy work and didn’t complete the job
I hired Quality Construction and owner David Cisneros to paint five rooms inside my house and do some handyman repairs. David came to work sporadically and never stayed the amount of time he was supposed to. After the last time he showed up for an hour, I haven’t heard from him since.
I’ve called and left voicemails, but haven’t heard back from him at all. Now, I have his supplies in my house and trash all over my house and my lawn. My neighbors have made comments about the condition of the house and yard, they say it looks trashed. I’m worried my HOA might say something about the mess.
I’ve spent $7,000 on a giant mess. The quality of the work done is not up to par or the quality we discussed before I hired David. David also damaged my flooring and cabinets in the bathroom. I want a $2,975 refund and for David to pick up his stuff.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
