Homeowner says Lady Lake landscaper lacks responsiveness and follow-up
I hired Jamie’s Landscaping of Lady Lake, Fla., to landscape my yard. I was impressed with the company at first, but their follow-up service has been awful.
When I call, either no one is there, or they say they will get back to me, but rarely do. I have contacted the service manager at least a dozen times with few follow-ups and no resolution. I have also kept a record of the dates of contact with his office.
I have been more than patient and feel that I am just getting lip service now. The warranty includes 60 days of work on shrubs, bushes and flowers. I have one fern that is completely dead and needs to be replaced, and the podocarpus is half-brown no matter how much I water it.
I think they are actually trying to delay this process until the warranty expires.
I want this company to do their part and honor the contract as it pertains to the replacement of dead or dying plants, shrubs or trees.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to mediate disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
