Homeowner says Kansas City-area moving company ruined food, damaged TV
I hired “Allow Us!” Moving Services of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, for a moving job. They gave me an estimate of $1,000. One of my televisions was working before the move, but ruined after they were done with it. They didn’t move three boxes labeled “food” until later, allowing it to spoil.
When I reached out to inquire about liability insurance, they claimed I only have five days to make any claims. Then they claimed the price would go up by $1,500 for having to box items, though a majority of my belongings were already boxed up.
I would like them to refund me $500 for the spoiled food and to replace the television they damaged.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
