Homeowner says Copley landscaper created an eyesore
I hired STM Lawn and Landscape of Copley, Ohio, for landscaping and seeding. With the exception of the mulch bed, the landscaper appeared to be doing everything correctly, until the seeding. Not being a lawn pro myself, it seems he used cheap seeds that allowed for the introduction of crab grass.
It’s an eyesore, especially compared to the other lawns in the neighborhood. After numerous attempts to reach the owner, he agreed to fix the crab grass problem. It’s now six weeks later and he has yet to fix his erroneous work. It’s past fall and the lawn doesn’t have the proper time to recover. I’ve paid for a complete failure of a lawn service and eyesore and he continues to avoid me.
I want a lush green lawn free of crab grass. He can come back and fix it or refund my money so I can pay someone else to do it.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to mediate disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
