Homeowner says Columbus landscaping company overcharged him
I hired Jake’s Property Services in Granville, Ohio, to put in a riding ring and do some work on a stream, as well as other smaller jobs around the property.
The ring looks good, but initially it was a mess, and owner Jake Warner wanted to charge me while not finishing it. Fortunately, the guy who was doing the work finished the job and apologized on his own accord.
During the job, one guy just sat there for two days without doing anything. I wondered why he was there, but decided not to worry, as I was paying a set fee for the job. But when the job was over, Jake charged an extra $600 for labor without permission. We asked him to remove the charge, but he refused to do so.
I would like a $600 refund.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
