Homeowner says Austin energy audit company did not issue promised refund
I hired Green Street Energy of Austin to add insulation to my attic, install a solar attic fan, and insulate my garage door.
They completed the work in one day and did a great job. Ever since the installation, it has been downhill. They lost my financing information and I had to redo the paperwork.
They promised to give me a $1,000 refund if I put a sign in my yard, write online reviews and provide two referrals for energy audits. I did those things, but they didn’t contact my referrals until I questioned them and both have since backed out.
Now our salesman has left the company and I can’t contact anyone because the telephone numbers are out of service.
I want the refund they promised.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
