Homeowner says Ashville electrical company failed to deliver
Unfortunately, I placed my order just prior to Hurricane Sandy, at which point all generators were on back order, and the delivery date kept getting pushed back. After several months, I asked for a refund, which Jim said he thought was reasonable. He told me it would take 60 days.
That time came and went, and I still haven’t received my refund. Jim is not returning my messages. I would like a $9,548 refund.

I agree with everything the member is saying. I do owe him a $9,548 refund; however, I am stuck in the middle here. I tried to cancel the order with the company, but in order to do that, I must cancel the entire order.
I have three other customer’s generators on that order, and it’s unfair to make them wait longer. As soon as the order arrives, I will return the member’s generator and get his refund.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
