Homeowner says Alpharetta glass company installed shower incorrectly
I hired Arrow Glass and Shower Doors of Alpharetta, Ga., and Deno Sclafani to install a frameless shower enclosure for my bathroom remodel. The company ordered three pieces of glass and said they’d come back to finish the work, which included setup and sealing the door.
After they installed the glass, I paid him and he instantly cashed the check. I then discovered the work was done incorrectly. When he came back to finish, I told him I wasn’t happy with the work because the measurements for the glass weren’t right. Everything is off about it. It’s like a puzzle: If one piece is wrong, the whole thing is wrong. He tried to put a half inch of caulk instead of fixing the glass correctly.
Deno admitted that the work was wrong and said he’d order new glass to fix it. It’s been over a month and I’ve not heard from him. When I call, he won’t answer or respond. I want $597 to hire a reputable company to do the job correctly.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
