Homeowner says Albuquerque landscaper floods yard with too many sprinklers
I hired Angel’s Lawn Service & Landscape Design in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to fix some leaks in my sprinkler system. He [Angel Romero, owner] said there were six in the backyard he repaired. But he didn’t adjust the water level properly on the sprinkler heads, so the lawn is getting too much water and it’s spraying my cement patio.
In the front yard, he couldn’t find the line after digging all over, and said he’d need to put a new line to one shrub and a bubbler to one tree. He also put sprinkler heads near a tree for which I didn’t ask to have a water supply.
I was charged an exorbitant amount for each. The sprinkler heads weren’t bubblers, as requested, and were way too close to the tree trunk. His wife showed up demanding payment and I said the work wasn’t done properly. She said he would come at the beginning of the week to fix everything, but she needed payment.
I waited all day and he didn’t show up. I want them to finish the job or provide a partial refund.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
