Homeowner Keeps New Gardens True to Texas Roots
Angie’s List member Carisa M. wanted her San Antonio home to be at the top of the curb appeal curve, yet keep her landscaping true to Texas roots. She called professional gardener Sean C. Davis in San Antonio to get advice and a quote.
“Right off the bat, Sean demonstrated a great deal of knowledge about the plants on my list,” she writes in her Page of Happiness-nominated review of the highly rated landscaper. “Since our front yard doesn’t receive a full day of sunlight, he immediately recognized the plants that wouldn’t do well in our yard and instead recommended alternative ones.”
The $2,200 job included planting more than 20 native plants, adding topsoil and mulch, installing irrigation and routing the downspouts to prevent rainwater from washing away the new landscaping.
“He educated me about each of the plants he planted,” she says. “I envisioned my yard to have lush perennials that are native to Texas, and that’s exactly what he gave me.”
