Homeowner calls Plano remodeler a one-stop shop for pergola, deck, kitchen projects
When Angie’s List member Charlie M. wanted to update his Dallas home, the engineer had plenty of questions for prospective remodelers. He hired highly rated E.B. Broussard Remodeling in Plano, Texas, because owner Bobby Broussard had all the answers.
“I was interested in how Bobby was going to complete the work,” he writes in his Pages of Happiness-nominated review. “He was very patient to explain how he planned to complete each task, and all of the construction was bulletproof.”
The $35,000 project included installing kitchen cabinets, granite countertops and backsplash, painting inside his home and knocking out part of an exterior wall to install a new sliding glass door. On the outside, the projects included building a 250-square-foot deck with a pergola and adding a small section of fence.
Charlie says Broussard and his wife, Elsa, were very easy to work with and responsive to any concerns. “As with any project, there were surprises that surfaced as we opened up walls and worked with the city on permits,” he adds. “Bobby handled that with ease and completely handled all day-to-day issues.”
The quality of Broussard’s work is excellent, Charlie says. “The deck and pergola are more solid than my house and could easily last 50 to 100 years. It’s built like a tank,” he says. “I have already recommended Bobby to family and friends. And they will be a ‘one-stop shop’ for any other home projects in my future!”
