Homeowner and Noblesville granite company resolve countertop dispute
I hired Stonesmiths of Noblesville to remove and replace the granite countertops in my kitchen to get my house ready to sell. Originally, working with them was very pleasant, but things went downhill when they had trouble removing the old countertop.
When they installed the countertops, the facade looked nice. However, they seemed to be in a hurry to leave my house and it seemed like they were rushed. Once they left, I noticed issues with the plastering, sanding and painting they did. They left a huge mess too. It cost me $500 to repair their mistakes so I could sell the house.
I want a $500 refund.

This review saddens me as we take pride in our work. I regret the customer’s dissatisfaction. We did attempt to rectify this, but they seemed unwilling to allow it. The offer to repair still stands. Please see our other reviews to see an accurate account of our company and the work we perform.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
