Heart attack or heartburn?
It's a sudden pain in your chest so severe that you're convinced you're having a heart attack, and yet it turns out to only be heartburn.
That may be good news by comparison, but if left untreated heartburn can lead to more serious health problems.
Typically, an episode of heartburn feels like a burning sensation in your chest and a bitter taste in your mouth, while a heart attack is more like significant pressure against your chest. But when it's happening it can be hard to make that distinction.
To be able to help with the heartburn, it is best to know what is causing your heartburn in the first place. Being able to switch out certain habits or foods is a great way to reduce the chance of heartburn.
