Handyman accused of skipping town on Somerville homeowner

COMPLAINT: Robert Whalen, Somerville, Mass.

"I paid Wally the Handyman $360 to replace two screen doors.

"He installed one half way and left the other in the yard uninstalled.

"His fee included painting the metal doors to match the trim. Because he accidentally sprayed paint on the screens, he decided to paint them!

"He then wanted to charge me to paint the trim because he slopped paint on it! Both his phones are shut off, and he isn't responding to e-mails.

"It appears as though Wally skipped town - unbelievable!"

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want him to complete a quality job or give me a $200 refund."

STATUS: Penalty Box
