Gutter company settles Redmond dispute with refund

I hired AA Window & Gutter Cleaning to clean the gutters. They gave me a quote over the phone of $175, which was the same price as the last time. I also agreed on an extra $20 charge if the gutter needed to be nailed.
Since leaves were blown from the gutter, there were a considerable amount on the lawn. At the end of the work, the technician gave me a charge of $200, which was a surprise.
The explanation [for the extra charge] was that I had 'a steep roof.' When I asked, the technician said there was no need to nail the gutter. It seems the technician wasn't aware that I was charged $175 for the same work just six months ago.
I talked to the office about the inconsistency, and at first they said it was the extra charge for nailing the gutter, then they said it was a price adjustment due to inflation. It sounds more like they want to keep the extra charge, even if the extra work isn't needed.
DESIRED RESOLUTION: I'd like a $25 refund.
Editor's note: The company apologized and gave the member a refund as well as a Starbucks gift card. The member says the matter is resolved.
