Fort Myers pet owner pleased with dog boarders
When Angie’s List member Kelsey Senker of Fort Myers, Florida, traveled out of town to marry Travis Walklett, she needed to board her two dogs.
“Originally, my boss had mentioned Country Pet Ranch [in Bonita Springs, Florida] because her friend owns the place and had recently opened it,” she says. “I had completely forgotten about the name until I researched on Angie’s List for a well-rated and reviewed dog kennel. Once I saw the reviews, I recognized the name and decided to check it out. It turned out to be all I had hoped for my dogs and more!”
Senker says she was impressed with the staff and how they entertained the dogs that stayed there. According to Senker, the highly rated kennel provides kiddie pools for the dogs to cool off, trail walks, regular walks and social playtime with the other dogs.
Though she loves the highly rated company now, she was nervous at first.
“I was pretty skeptical, since neither of my dogs have been boarded before and have only been watched by family members,” she says. “They are very social dogs, but I was leaving them for 11 days with strangers, so I was definitely a little nervous.”
Senker says she appreciated the great rate — $450 to board two dogs for 11 days — and the close attention they paid to her dogs.
“I called toward the end of their stay and Maja, the owner, picked up the phone and knew exactly who I was and had nothing but wonderful things to stay about both of my dogs,” she says. “Since they stayed at least 10 days, they got a free bath, so when I picked them up, they were happy and clean! I will absolutely use Country Pet Ranch again for any boarding or day care needs. They were excellent, and I love that they have a large property not only for social play and interaction, but for trail walks, which my dogs absolutely love.”
