Florida pool owner says paver company damaged property
I hired Croat Pavers in Cape Coral, Florida, to clean, sand and seal my driveway and lanai.
They made a mess of my property. They got sealer all over my sliding glass doors and sand all over the coping around my pool that’s stuck from the sealer. There are at least four pieces of coping that are cracked at their joints.
The company left a white hazing on the pavers on the driveway and lanai from the sealer, and they didn’t properly apply the sand. They got sand all over the aluminum pool cage, and it’s also stuck from the sealer.
What a miserable experience! They don’t honor their 5-year warranty.
They made a huge mess at my property, and put my driveway and lanai in jeopardy with the rainy season heading our way.
I want a $2,200 refund so I can pay for repairs to the coping joints around the pool, remove the sealer from the sliding glass doors, remove the white hazing on the driveway and lanai pavers and remove sand from the aluminum pool cage.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
