Elkridge HVAC company left work incomplete and incorrect, member says
We set work to start on a Tuesday. I was told it should last two or two-and-a-half days. Weeks later, the job is incomplete and incorrect.
The ducts haven’t been finished, and work wasn’t done properly. The venting for the system was run 10 feet away from where we agreed, creating the need for bulkheads in a bedroom. They forgot to install an air filter in the furnace. The new supplies added to the basement drop down inches below the ceiling line and will have to be redone.
I’ve been emailing and calling with inconsistent responses to emails and none to voice mails.
Our entire project has been on hold for three weeks. Framing, plumbing and electrical cannot proceed until the HVAC work is completed. One person indicated Dynatemp recently lost employees.
I want them to finish the work or refund an appropriate amount of the $6,234 deposit.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
