Dog boarding service impresses new dog owner

Member Shana Lewis of Benbrook, Texas recently hired Cowtown Canines of nearby Forth Worth to care for her dog for two nights during a vacation, at a cost of $90.

Here’s what she had to say about her experience:

“I got my dog just before I was due to go on vacation, so I immediately set out to find a place to board her. I researched almost every option in the area. What made me choose Cowtown Canines was that it is first and foremost a dog day care. I liked the idea of her playing all day with other dogs and being too exhausted at night to miss me. And I saw there was a ‘24 Hour Boarding’ option where the owner takes the dogs home with her instead of staying in the facility overnight.

The weekend went great, and she came home and there were no incidents of her seeming distant or destructive, which were things I’d read about dogs sometimes doing after a separation. I liked the whole experience so much, I began taking her to day care there regularly.”
