Dallas sinks gain style with granite countertops
Dallas member Ernest Stokely recently hired JM Granite and Marble of Dallas to tear out and replace five countertops. Among other things, they made three countertops from granite left over from a kitchen remodel.
Here’s what Stokely had to say about his experience:
“They tore out cultured marble countertops in four bathrooms and a bar area, replaced three countertops with granite salvaged from a kitchen renovation, cut and polished and made two countertops with new granite from JM. Included in the price were five new porcelain sinks and one stainless bar sink from JM. I did all of the plumbing.
"They were punctual, always showed up within a few minutes of the time I was told they would be there and worked hard to complete the job on time. They started what I thought was a large job at 1:30 p.m. and walked out the door at 7 p.m. with everything completed. The tear-out was very quick and took less than an hour. All countertops and splash boards fit nicely and the finish on the tops’ edges was great.”
