Dallas plumbing company allegedly fails to find leak

COMPLAINT: Elizabeth Verhault, Dallas

"Water was leaking all over my guest bathroom floor. I flushed the toilet and turned off the water.

"Two guys [from Hunter Plumbing] came out. They turned the water back on and said they couldn't find anything wrong. They said they'd only charge $32.50.

"Later, I went into the bathroom, and there was water on the floor again. I called them, and the receptionist apologized and said she said she'd send them back out. I waited the afternoon they were supposed to come, but they didn't show.

"When I called her back, she said they could either send out a different crew or she would refund my money. I told her to refund my money, but I have yet to see the check."

STATUS: Resolved

Editor's Note: Verhault says she received the refund check.
