Customer says communications company in Las Vegas won't fix outages
I bought phone, Internet and cable TV service from Cox Communications in Las Vegas, and have experienced daily outages. I cannot even register complaints online, as the, “Sorry, all agents are busy” sign is as far as I’ve gotten. The phone, Internet and cable service provided by this company has been unreliable and doesn’t work consistently, and the company has been unresponsive.
I’d like a refund of $150. I had to guess at the amount as we have not had service here long enough to get a bill. I would like not to be charged for the services to date, and I would like for the services to work, at least while I am seeking an alternate provider. We have been in this property for about 10 days. We have had one, maybe two, days of uninterrupted service. I’m looking for another provider as this company seems to be in the business of selling services, not providing them.

Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
