Customer claims clean was too quick
COMPLAINT: Margaret Hatchard, Chagrin Falls, Ohio
"Through the Angie's List Big Deal, I hired Pristine Clean Services Inc., in Columbus, Ohio, to clean my home. Five workers showed up and were rushing around my home trying to get the work done. They stated they needed to complete the work in an hour, even though the deal stated four hours of cleaning.
"There was no way anyone could get all of the work done properly in this time. Their equipment seemed to be malfunctioning and it seemed there was a lot of chaos going on. The next day, I found a frame in the kitchen that they cleaned had completely scraped the paint off the wall. They also cleaned the ceiling fan in the kitchen, and when I went to turn it on, it wouldn't work."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I would like the ceiling fan fixed and the wall repainted, or a refund to offset the cost of the repairs."
COMPANY RESPONSE: Moshe Levi, owner
"If I may clarify the Big Deal offer: four hours of cleaning represents four working hours. By sending five cleaners who cleaned for an hour and 40 minutes, this actually translates to eight working hours of cleaning. I'm sorry the member was displeased with our work. Therefore, I'm refunding her money."
