Cracked Charlotte spa puts quality into question

COMPLAINT: Bill Ardem, Charlotte, N.C.

"I hired Carolina Blue Pools to install an in-ground pool with a spa. I am pleased with the outcome and I feel I got a reasonably good product.

"However, three years after the installation, there are large cracks forming in the spa and it's leaking. I would like for them to come out and tell me how to fix this and whether this is a structural problem that would be covered under the lifetime warranty.

"I've been trying to contact them now for a month, and they have failed to return any phone call. Until now, we have been pleased with the quality of the final product, although at this point I am a little concerned about the integrity of the pool's shell.

"They were pleasant to deal with, but I am very disappointed by their lack of response."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I would like them to examine the spa, determine how extensive a problem it is, and repair it if it's covered under warranty."
