Contractor, Tampa homeowner disagree about fence's stability
I hired Jennex Fence of Lutz, Florida, to install a 68-foot wooden fence.
The slabs continue to split and the fence isn’t nailed correctly. My neighbor was going to paint her side of the fence, but the painter she hired to do it would not paint it because the fence isn’t stable.
I’ve left multiple voice mails and sent emails, but they haven’t responded to any. I want Jennex to replace the fence.

Please understand that wood has natural characteristics that are outside of our control.
The member’s fence was built correctly, and is strong and sturdy. She is experiencing natural defects of wood sinking, warping and curling. This is natural when wood dries under direct sunlight.
We will be happy to correct any bad boards only and re-nail the entire fence once more.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
