Contractor Replaces Rusty, Deteriorating Metal Roof
Angie’s List member Chris L. of Norfolk, Virginia, says at first, he couldn’t find anyone who wanted to replace just a 66-square-foot section of his metal roof. He says the section had rusted and deteriorated, but most roofers didn’t want to take on such a small job.
That’s when he found highly rated Atlantic Roofing & Siding in Virginia Beach.
“John [Davis, owner] showed up the same day I called him and gave me what I thought was a very fair estimate,” Chris writes in his Page of Happiness-nominated review of the company. “He came up with great ideas on how to increase the roof pitch to avoid the water intrusion problems I had before. He also took the extra time to ensure the new roof was done correctly and explained his thought process to me the whole way.”
Chris says he expects many people to have rushed through his $825 job so they could go on to a bigger moneymaker, but Davis took his time to make sure he did the job.
“The job took him longer than he expected, but he didn’t ask for a dime more than his initial estimate,” he says. “He also did the job personally, which I was very impressed with. Overall, [it was] an excellent experience.”
