Consumer says West Palm Beach pest control company didn’t remove snake
I hired Allstar Animal Removal of West Palm Beach, Florida, to remove a coral snake. I paid $489 for the initial trap placement and snake removal. They also want you to pay $715 for the rest of the year, but they said I could decide when they remove the snake. However, if you opt out of the annual service, you have to pay half of the remaining total.
I wanted to see if their service was effective before deciding. The technician who laid the traps told me to call him when I see the snake, even late at night, and he would be here within 30 minutes. I saw the snake at 10:30 p.m. at night, so I called him, but he said he was out of town and would be here the next day. I never heard from him.
When I saw the snake again, I called again. I still haven’t been able to get ahold of him. They are very impressive and very professional until the time they have the credit card information. Then you don’t see them again once you need them. I’m willing to pay $89 for the traps. I want a $400 refund.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
