Consumer says Weeki Wachee optical outlet's prescription didn't work
I paid Optical Outlets of Weeki Wachee, Florida, $328 for an eye exam and eyeglasses with thin lenses.
When the glasses arrived, I couldn’t see out of the left eye, and I had double vision in the right eye.
The doctor identified the problem and placed a new order. However, the new glasses have thick lenses. When I asked them to replace the lenses, they said they could try, but couldn’t guarantee I would be able to see out of them. They refused to refund my money.
I want eyeglasses with the thin lenses I paid for without an additional charge.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
