Consumer says Webster movers won’t pay for stolen lumber
I hired DI-CO Moving of Webster, Texas, to move a five-acre ranch’s home and farm equipment. The move was done in two parts.
Both times, the movers overestimated how much they could move, even though the owner, Tim Dittman, visited the property a couple of times. The move itself was average, with punctuality somewhat of an issue and a few broken items.

They loaded premium tongue and groove pine lumber on a flatbed, but didn’t deliver it with the rest of our things. The delivery was scheduled within a few days of the second move.
Two weeks and multiple phone calls later, we were informed that it had been stolen, along with the flatbed, from in front of the warehouse. When Tim Dittman’s insurance company refused to pay because it was left in an unsecured location, we offered to accept a fair cash settlement.
Tim Dittman refuses to pay for the stolen lumber. I would never recommend this company.
I want a $5,000 refund.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
