Consumer says Raleigh land surveyor failed to provide report
I hired Harold Todd Smith Land Surveying of Raleigh, North Carolina, to survey the lot of a house I was under contract to buy. He said he completed the work, but unfortunately, the deal for the house fell through. I paid the $380 bill.
I have contacted Smith numerous times to obtain a copy of the survey, because new buyers of the house are interested in purchasing it from me. When I call Smith to get the status of the survey delivery, he says he will get back to me and never does.
I was charged for this survey, even though I have no proof of it ever being completed. I would like a $380 refund.

Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
