Consumer says Orlando flower shop didn’t deliver ordered arrangements
My husband won flowers every month for a year for me from Flowerama of Orlando, Florida, in a charity silent auction. We were supposed to get an arrangement valued at $50 monthly starting last September.
We began emailing and calling them in mid-September. In mid-October, after I threatened to report them on social media, they finally got back to us saying they had been out of the country. They even offered to give us an extra arrangement, due to their delayed response.
I got one arrangement in late October. I tried contacting them in November, December and January to get my arrangements for those months, but the only time I heard from them was shortly before Thanksgiving, and they said they couldn’t meet me the day I wanted to pick up the flowers.
They’ve been unresponsive to my other emails, calls and even a note I left at the shop.
They shouldn’t have offered this silent auction prize if they had no intention of honoring it. My husband spent $600, and I’ve only received one arrangement.
I would like a $550 refund, or just what my husband paid for — flowers every month for the next 11 months.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
