Consumer says Los Angeles remodeler provided refund
I paid a $159 deposit to The House Next Door of Los Angeles for resurfacing my bathtub and shower door. I decided not to use their services and want my check back.
When I saw owner Yaaqov Rahlin, he didn’t have the check with him although I asked for it twice before.
I want a full refund.

We are very sorry about this experience. We know the contract was canceled, and this is the reason we never deposited the member’s check.
We are mailing your original check back. Again, we are sorry.
Yaaqov Rahlin, owner
Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
