Consumer says Hilliard landscaper provided creative ideas
Lockbourne, Ohio, Angie’s List member Megan Huck wanted to jazz up the minimalist, generic builder-installed landscape surrounding her new home, so she hired highly rated Twinscapes Landscaping of Hilliard, Ohio. Huck also wanted a real patio, not a boring concrete slab.
The Twinscapes Landscaping foreman arrived armed with ideas and a book chock full of additional ideas, Huck says, adding she knew immediately he was an expert in his field.
“Our trust was 100 percent with him, and he did not let us down,” Huck says. “He has an eye for what looks good.”

She gave him the caveat that everything should match, and Twinscapes Landscaping stayed within the budget. The $4,140 project took two days to complete.
Twinscapes Landscaping replaced generic plants with plants that matched the house’s siding, built a retaining wall, and the landscaping covered a broader area.
“Overall, the front [yard] was more appealing and appears more put together than other houses in our development,” Huck says.
They also replaced the concrete slab in the backyard with a brick patio in a color that coordinates with the house. The patio also includes flower beds on either side as well as plants and two trellises. A storage shed also sits in the backyard.
“The back area really makes me feel home now where we can enjoy our backyard, entertain guests and relax,” Huck says. “We get a lot of compliments about the new look!”
