Consumer disappointed with Snap-On Smile from dentist
I went to A+ Family Dental of Houston because they offered a new procedure called Snap-On Smile to cover my missing tooth.
I paid $1,800 upfront. When the appliance came in, it was bulky, it hurt, and I couldn’t talk. It also gave me blisters in my mouth.
I called immediately for another appointment. They said the earliest available appointment was a month later.
I’m a teacher, and I can’t talk with this piece in my mouth. They told me it wouldn’t be a problem, but I can’t even eat with it.
They kept the appliance and won’t return my calls. I don’t trust this company.
The tooth looked like one of those fake teeth you buy on Halloween. They convinced me to buy a whole arch instead of just enough to cover up the one tooth.
They promised minimal bulking, and it was huge. It was like having a bar of soap in my mouth. If I’m paying this amount of money, I expect the appliance to work.
I want a full refund.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
