What services do you offer?
Serena Arko: "Trophies, plaques, name badges, gavels, silk-screened stuff, embroidering, pen sets and acrylic and bronze awards."
Ron Barney: "We offer terrific trophies, plaques and awards at great prices."
Dave Memec: "We do anything you need engraved and plaques, trophies and ribbons."
Why should people choose you over an online company?
Arko: "Craftsmanship, experience, personal relations, plus the quality."
Barney: "They don't have to worry about getting the wrong thing. I have a lot of repeat business just because of the services I offer."
Memec: "They call us and we can have it the next day. Their quality is nothing near ours."
What options do people have when choosing a trophy?
Arko: "They start from the bottom to the top. Their options are the base, columns and there's different shapes and colors."
Barney: "Unlimited options. They can have whatever they want. I'll put it together. I make it to order."
Memec: "It's anything you want. We get books from everywhere, and we can buy supplies from anywhere. You can get any color or style, and you can get all different bases."
What are some of the options for figures on top of trophies?
Arko: "We have every animal for the fair. Then you have all your sports. We have pingpong, paintball guns, babies, violins and apples."
Barney: "There are a lot of religious offerings, Miss America-type things. Salespeople, army officers, animals and cars."
Memec: "Trophy tops can go anywhere from the baseball tops to victory-type stuff. They've been coming up with a lot of bobble-head stuff lately, and that's been big."
How do you charge for trophies?
Arko: "There is no set price because it depends on the materials. It could range from $3 to $3,000."
Barney: "It's according to what I pay for them. I have a trophy that I make for $6 and some that I make for $120."
Memec: "We charge for the materials. You can dress everything up. A small trophy could be $3."
What makes you stand out from your competition?
Arko: "Reputation and craftsmanship. It's just the quality."
Barney: "Location and the fact that this company has been here for 60 years."
Memec: "My wife is very artistic with stuff and she comes up with some very good ideas."
