Company Upholsters Furniture after Vendor Falls Through
A busy vendor schedule left Miromar Lakes, Florida, member Todd M. looking for someone to reupholster two barrel chairs and a chaise.
“The work was originally supposed to be done by my designer’s regular vendor in Minneapolis prior to my move to Florida,” Todd writes in a Page of Happiness-nominated review. “They were horribly behind schedule and unable to complete the work before my scheduled move.”
Todd then contacted owner Sandy Harvey at highly rated Bahama Upholstering in Fort Myers, Florida.
“She arranged for pickup by her husband, Tim, within days of my arrival in Florida,” he says.
According to Todd, Tim realized the situation Todd would be in without the furniture and did the $1,800 job quickly but efficiently.
“I only moved a limited amount of furniture to Florida, and Tim realized I’d have very little seating – one new loveseat – until he returned these items,” Todd says. “He expedited the work without being asked and finished a week sooner than I expected. The quality of work was first-rate.”
