Company finally follows through on propane delivery in Fuquay-Varina
I called Ferrellgas, based in Liberty, Mo., in January to request a propane refill. They told me to call back when the tank was down to 20 percent.
I called back when it was reading at 24 percent and paid $231, plus applied a $75 credit for delivery. They gave me the delivery date and assured me that it wouldn’t run out prior to the date.
I ran out two days before my delivery date and called the customer service line. They told me they don’t make emergency deliveries to will-call customers. I was given a new delivery date, which was three days later than my original delivery date. They said I’d have to pay an additional $160 for next-day delivery.
The new delivery date came and went, and still, no gas. I called twice and was assured that I was on the schedule for delivery. The temps were in the single digits, and I was without gas. This is the worst customer experience I’ve encountered. I want them to deliver the propane as promised.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
