Client wants back to blonde after unhappy haircut

Client wants back to blonde after unhappy haircut

COMPLAINT: Nancy Beck, Scott Air Force Base, Ill.

"I went to Hair Loft in O'Fallon, Ill., for a dimensional color treatment, trim and blow dry. I thought it was OK until I got home and my husband asked, 'What did you do to your hair, and why the new color?'

"The next day, I noticed a red tint and brownish color; I'd been blond. My hair also felt brittle and dry. I called the salon, and they told me to come in so they could fix it. When I got there, the stylist said my hair was that way when I had [originally] come in. I called the manager when I got home, and when she called back, she was argumentative and accused me of being a liar."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want my hair color returned to its blond shade."

COMPANY RESPONSE: Jenie Renner, owner, Hair Loft

"The client called after leaving my salon, and I called her back within the hour. She said the stylist never offered to fix her hair, but I was there and overheard their entire conversation. I said I'd do whatever it took to make it right, and she hung up. We take pride in the quality and service we give our clients. We care about our clients' happiness and satisfaction. We would've happily worked with her, but she didn't allow us to."
