Cleveland garage door company solves homeowner’s issue
I hired Precision Overhead Garage Door of Cleveland to fix the opener, spring and cables on my garage door. When the tech took down the old parts, the opener fell on a window and broke it. He replaced the glass that same day, but still needed to replace the insert.
A month later, he came back with a box of inserts that didn’t fit. He took a photo of it and sent it to his boss and said it was on back order. The repairman who came out did great and fabulous work. However, this accident is something they need to take ownership for. I’ve called and they won’t return my calls. I want all the inserts replaced so the color matches.

The member has every right to be frustrated with Precision Door. We ordered the inserts for this door, waited two weeks and found that the manufacturer supplied us with the wrong ones. There is some confusion on the manufacturer’s end about the correct replacement. We believe we have the correct inserts ordered now. We’ve been in touch with the member since the day he lodged the complaint and are keeping him apprised of resolving this issue.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
