Cincinnati piano tuner gets piano in shape
It was common practice at the time for manufacturers to allow dealers to affix their own brand labels to pianos, but Ziburtovicz and Corneliuss say they're uncertain who originally made this particular player model.
Corneliussen worked as a stage sound monitor for the J. Geils Band in the late 1970s. The band is famous for such early 1980s chart-topping hits like "Love Stinks," "Centerfold," and "Freeze-frame."

Description of work "George [Corneliussen] tuned my Otto Grau player piano, which we both guessed had never been tuned. George arrived five minutes early and did a fantastic job. Before he began, he cautioned me that tuning may not be successful, because corroded strings may break and so on. The tuning required two hours. He gave me a history of the Grau company and how pianos are constructed. It became obvious at the end of the visit that George loves restoring old pianos."
Member Comments "George warned me that I may need to retune again in six months because it appeared the piano was never tuned. I was extremely impressed with George's service and professionalism and I'm recommending him to all of my friends with pianos. I feel very lucky to have found him."
