Chicago homeowner says concrete company left cracks
I hired Anyway Concrete in Chicago to remove and replace an old, crumbling sidewalk along the side of and in front of my house. At first, I was very happy with the work, but after a few months, a large crack appeared through a big section of the sidewalk.
They seemed very eager and willing to fix the problem at first, but it took several months before they finally did so. They left the work poorly finished and with one section creating a dangerous trip hazard, another disintegrating, and a large visual scar. When I let them know about this, I never received a response.
I would like them to redo the portions of the sidewalk they did incorrectly, and do it at the right standard this time.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
