Description Of Work "Peg [Sennett, the owner] and her staff groomed a foster dog for me on short notice, so he could be ready for the Chicagoland Pet Show."

"I volunteer for an animal rescue, and almost at the last minute we decided to bring an additional foster to a show in Arlington Heights. He'd been living in an outdoor run since September and had never been shown. My mission was to get him adopted that weekend. I contacted the Barker Shoppe, which is close to the foster home, and they squeezed him in early the day of the show, even though they were booked. They washed him three times, clipped his nails, cleaned his ears, and gave him some much needed TLC. They were able to make him quite presentable for the pet show at 2 p.m. The result? We received several applications for the dog and hopefully he'll find his 'fur-ever' home! I couldn't have done it without Peg and her caring staff."
