Description of work "David [Hill, the owner] runs my dog, Rudy, twice a week."
Member comments "Rudy was so full of energy, and I couldn't exercise enough to tire him out. I work out, but I'm not a runner, and that's what Rudy wanted to do. I hired David and the results have been incredible! Rudy is much calmer and he loves the extra exercise. David is completely reliable and I believe he has Rudy's best interests at heart. I highly recommend him to anyone with an active dog."
Hill got the idea for his business after adopting a border collie mix from a rescue. "He was pretty high-strung and neurotic," he says. "I started taking him running with me as I trained for marathons and he seemed calmer and more relaxed. He's run up to 14 miles with me." Hill, who has finished seven marathons, does two to four four-mile runs each day and ran nearly 2,000 miles with dogs in 2007. "I started at the beginning of 2007 with one client,"he says. "Now I have 28 clients and three employees, and we do around 60 runs a week."
