Chicago-area contractor makes homeowner’s glass door complaint right

I hired The Chapman Co. in Warrenville, Illinois, to adjust my glass door and transom and replace the seals. They were here six times. I had one issue after another and had to have them back so many times because the door and transom were not adjusted correctly and I had new sweeps installed.

After doing a bit of research and calling on some other glass adjusters, I learned that both the door and transom needed to be adjusted and moved up to fit the bottom sweep. After repeated attempts by The Chapman Co. failed, I called another contractor for a second opinion, and they were able to fix the problem in minutes.

I would like The Chapman Co. to provide a full $180 refund since they didn’t resolve my issues and I had to pay another company to make it right.
