Charlotte-area members revved up by these auto repair pros
Whether you live in Mint Hill or on Mountain Island, you’re looking for great service, especially with service and maintenance of your car.
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from Charlotte-area auto repair shops as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
Matthews Township Collision Center repaired Valerie Jones’ new car after her husband backed into a mailbox pole and left a rather deep ding in the rear bumper. “They did the work in a very timely way,” she says. “When the bumper guard began to lift away from the bumper several weeks later, they immediately scheduled a return visit to reattach it properly. We have had no further problems. I would definitely use them again, but hope the need does not arise to do so.”
Christian Family Automotive, also of Matthews, steered Cynthia McCray in the right direction for fixing her car problems. “The power steering hose was spraying fluid and was replaced,” she says. “The power steering return hose was also seeping fluid and was replaced. They were friendly and thorough in explaining what they had found and what needed to be done to repair the leaks. They were honest, and I never felt pressured. I plan to use this business in the future, and I highly recommend them!”
Charlotte-based Dents Charlotte worked tirelessly on Gregory Renn’s car. “They repaired the damaged front bumper, replaced the damaged rear spoiler and painted and applied clear coating to the hood, front bumper and rear spoiler,” he says. “The work required a trained eye and took a long time to do correctly. Shop owner Tony Kutas has a passion for his business and cares about his work product. He doesn’t take shortcuts and stands behind his work. I highly recommend him, as it’s hard to find folks with those qualities.”
Detailing by Tim in Indian Trail didn’t miss a single spot on Jon Hicks’ car. “They took a beat-up 2007 Toyota Camry and made it look like it just came off of the showroom floor,” he says. “My three-year-old and one-year-old had put some serious stains and who knows what on the interior. All the stains I was worried about came out of the carpet. Even the dealer who I traded it into was amazed with how clean the car was. The price was right on as well.”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A's in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company's actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they'd hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
